7. Glass jars

Probably it has something to do with the background of my parents, but I think it is a pity that emptied glass jars are just thrown away. I don’t collect them, but sometimes I save one.
I covered a large peanutbutter jar with masking tape. When I put a light in it, the fibers and the different shading colours became visible.

I like it very much. The light also discovered a hidden bit of plastic label, at the inside of the jar, with a number on it. The almost opposite effects of tiny and tight ciphers combined with the soft glow of different shades of tape are fascinating, I think.
